Bayard Cutting Arboretum

Thousands of people visit the dahlia gardens every year at the Bayard Arboretum that are planted and maintained by the Long Island Dahlia Society. Both professional and amateur photographers visit our garden on a daily basis once the flowers begin to bloom around the beginning of July. The Bayard Cutting Arboretum is located on Montauk  Highway (Main Street) in East Islip, Long Island, New  York. For more information there is a link to their website on our Links page. There is also a link to an amateur photographer whose website is called "Greenfreak" that shows some of the dahlias the LIDS grew at the Arboretum.
